Vodafone Egypt expects 160,000 broadband users

Vodafone Egypt expects to add 100,000 mobile broadband customers in 2009, taking its total broadband client base to 160,000. Officials said the firm had 60,000 mobile broadband users at the end of 2008. Analysts number broadband users at around 1 million, suggesting Vodafone Egypt had 10 percent or more of the market.
