B&G Hotels & Resorts Calimera Habiba Resort in Egypt receives Award for Excellence
B&G Hotels and Resorts, a leading hotel and management company in the Middle East and operator of the Royal Club in Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah Island, has announced that Calimera Habiba Resort, located in the popular tourist town of Marsa Alam in Egypt, has recently received an Award for Excellence from the International Travel Services (ITS) Group.
Calimera Habiba Resort, which is owned by Balbaa Group of Companies and managed by B&G Hotels and Resorts, emerged as one of the best 60 hotels from a pool of over 4,000 hotels in the world. Eng. Ahmed Balbaa, Chairman of Balbaa Group, received the award from Mr. Ralph Schiller, CEO of ITS, during the awards ceremony held in Palma de Mallorca.
Criteria for selection of awardees included the level of satisfaction of guests for the service provided by the hotel; architecture and interior design; annual occupancy rate; the volume of hotel guests from Germany; and future demand.
Calimera Habiba Resort offers a unique tropical experience with its palm trees and long beaches as well as its verdant gardens that merge with the Red Sea’s turquoise waters. The hotel offers 300 rooms and suites, and is equipped with a full range of state-of-the-art facilities and amenities, including all-day dinning, gymnasium with Jacuzzi and steam rooms, a 527-square meter meeting room, swimming pools, and outdoor and indoor bars. The hotel also offers a variety of recreational activities including tennis, horseback riding and diving.
