UK’s flagship carrier British Airways has announced that it will launch new thrice weekly direct services from UK to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt from October 25.  BA had previously offered services to the Red Sea resort via its former franchise operator GB Airways.

The routes will be operated by a triple-cabin Boeing 777 aircraft with a three-class configuration – World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World.

Sharm El-Sheikh has become a leading tourist resort thanks to its dramatic landscape, year-round dry and temperate climate, and long stretches of natural beaches. Moreover, conference tourism in Egypt has steadily increased over the past six years where the total events held in Sharm El-Sheikh International Conference Center has increased.
