The Egyptian Cultural Centre and Educational Bureau in London is concerned mainly with promoting the Egyptian Culture in the United Kingdom, through developing links and exchanges between the two countries’ cultural institutions to help increase cultural awareness and build positive cultural and educational relations.

The programme includes evening lectures as well as full days sessions called “day schools”. Evening lectures are absolutely free.

From Siwa to Kharga
Thursday 12th of  February 2009
Mr. Peter Philips, Manchester Ancient Egypt Society, Editor of “Ancient Egypt” magazine.

Day schools, which run all day each and include oriental lunch, cost £40 per attendee.

Egyptology in Manchester: the first hundred years
Saturday 14th February, 2009, 10 am – 4.30 pm.

Saturday 27th June 2009, 10 am – 4.30 pm.
